IGP bound for Morocco to join Interpol confce

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Noor Mohammad was scheduled to leave the city Saturday night for Morocco to attend the 76th annual general conference of Interpol, reports UNB.
Over 500 representatives from 186 member-countries of the international police organisation will attend the meet, to be held at Marrakus tomorrow (Monday).
The IGP is leading a four-member Bangladesh team to the conference. The other members are Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) DG Hasan Mahmud Khandaker, DIG (Administration) Syed Shah Jaman Raj, and AIG (NCB) Anwar Kamal.
The conference will discuss strengthening coordination and cooperation among the police departments of the member countries and crime-control strategies.
