'IGP Complaint Cell' to work 24 hours

Against the backdrop of involvement of cops in various criminal activities, the Bangladesh Police decided to keep open the "IGP Complaint Cell" round-the-clock, reports BSS.
People can lodge complaints with the cell against any unprofessional and unethical acts by the police personnel by making calls to mobile phone numbers 01769693535 and 01769693536 and sending emails to complain@police.gov.bd, said an official release.
Complaints can also be filed in writing through courier services, it added.
The cell will be operated under the supervision of an additional deputy inspector general.
