IIBL holds 34th Shariah Council meeting

The 34h meeting of the Shariah Council of Islami Insurance Bangladesh Limited (IIBL) was held at its head office in the city recently, said a press release.
Chaired by IIBL Shariah Council Chairman Principal Kamaluddin Jafri, the meeting was attended, among others, by its Shariah Council members Moulana Mohiuddin Khan, Shah Abdul Hannan, Mufti Shamsuddin (Zia), Hafez Moulana Abdus Samad, Moulana Syed Julfikar Jahur and Moulana Mohammad Mansur Al Haq, and company's Managing Director Abul Kashem Chowdhury.
The company's board members were also present on special invitation.
The meeting was discussed on some important points for conducting business of the company on the basis of Shariah and also formulated some suggestions in this connection.
