IIDFC arranges Tk 1.68b syndicated working capital for Warid Telecom

Industrial and Infrastructure Development Finance Company Limited (IIDFC) has arranged a syndicated working capital facility of Tk 1.68 billion (168 crore) for Warid Telecom International Limited.
A total of nine financial institutions, under the lead arrangement of IIDFC, are participating in phase one of the arrangement.
A signing ceremony was held in this connection in a city hotel recently.
Syed Anisul Huq, managing director of Bank Asia Limited, Khwaja Shahriar, head of corporate banking of BRAC Bank Limited, Md Yeasin Ali, managing director of Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited, Ali Reza Iftekhar, managing director of Eastern Bank Limited, Mahmood Malik, managing director of IIDFC, Mohammed Lakiotullah, managing director of Jamuna Bank Limited, Kazi Md Shafiqur Rahman, managing director of Mutual Trust Bank Limited, Nurul Amin, managing director of National Credit and Commerce Bank Limited, Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, managing director of Pubali Bank Limited, Hamidul Huq, managing director of United Commercial Bank Limited, and Muneer Farooqui, CEO of Warid Telecom, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
M Matiul Islam, chairman of IIDFC, was also present on the occasion.
