IIDFC arranges Tk 1b syndicated loan for BRAC

A signing ceremony of syndicated short-term credit facility of Tk 1.0 billion for BRAC was held at a city hotel recently.
IIDFC, as the lead arranger, managed the fund for financing BRAC's integral micro-credit programmes.
This is so far the largest syndicated financial transaction among the non-banking financial institutions in the country.
Ten leading leasing companies comprising Industrial and Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IIDFC) Ltd, Bangladesh Industrial Finance Company (BIFC) Ltd, GSP Finance Company Bangladesh Ltd, Prime Finance and Investment Ltd, Phonenix Finance and Investment Ltd, Union Capital Ltd, Fareast Finance and Investment Ltd, Lanka-Bangla Finance Ltd, United Leasing Company Ltd and Premier Leasing International Ltd.
Managing directors and senior officials of the concerned institutions were also present on the occasion.
