Imamul Islam Latifi dies

Freedom fighter and journalist Imamul Islam Latifi died at Chittagong Medical College Hospital at 5:00 am Tuesday. He was 68, said a press release.
He was the son of Muslim saint Moulana Enamul Haque Latifi.
He was suffering from liver cirrhosis. He left behind his two sons, six sisters and eight brothers and a host of relatives to mourn his death.
He was the former General Secretary of Chittagong Union of Journalists (CUJ), Vice President of Chittagong Press Club and Chittagong Journalists' Housing Cooperative Society.
