IMCTC secy gen wraps up Dhaka visit

Lieutenant General Abdulelah bin Othman Al-Saleh, secretary general of Saudi-based Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), along with his four-member entourage wrapped up a four-day visit to Bangladesh on Thursday.
The official tour that started on November 12 continued till November 15, said an ISPR press release.
The main objective of the visit was to deliver speech on the working arenas and work plan of IMCTC at the National Defence College and Defence Service Command and Staff College in Mirpur Cantonment, Dhaka.
The visiting team paid a courtesy call on the foreign secretary, principal staff officer of the Armed Forces Division and other senior military officials.
During the meeting, the IMCTC secretary general focused on various bilateral issues between Bangladesh and IMCTC and also lauded the uncompromising stand of the Bangladesh government against terrorism.
