IMF team meets NCC Bank officials

A team of International Monetary Fund (IMF) led by its Resident Representative Jonathan C Dunn met with management of the NCC Bank Ltd at its head office recently.
Managing Director Mohammed Nurul Amin and other senior executives of the bank discussed with them overall development of the banking sector in the country.
Foreign exchange and money market operation, activities of primary dealers of government securities were also discussed elaborately, says a press release.
Among others, IMF Asia-Pacific Department Adviser Masato Miyazaki and Economist Geert J Almenkinders and NCC Bank Deputy Managing Director Golam Hafiz Ahmed were also present on the occasion.
