Immediate recruitment to non-cadre posts demanded

The successful candidates in the 28th BCS examination demanded immediate recruitment to the non-cadre posts as promised by the government earlier.
They formed a human chain on Dhaka University (DU) campus at 11 am Saturday to press home their demand.
Some 5,105 examinees emerged successful in the 28th BCS examination finally.
Of the successful candidates, Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) recommended recruitment of 2,190 successful examinees to different cadre posts and the rest of them were assured of non-cadre posts on condition of vacancy.
