Immigration Act being amended

Maintaining conformity with the home ministry's Human Trafficking (Prevention and Protection) Act', the expatriates welfare and overseas employment ministry has directed authority concerned to formulate a new 'Immigration Act' soon. The home ministry has already taken initiatives to formulate Human Trafficking Prevention and Protection Act-2011 to control human trafficking, said Jafar Ahmed Khan, expatriates welfare and overseas employment secretary, after a consultation meeting Wednesday.
