Implementation of RTI law underscored

RAJSHAHI, Dec 12 (BSS): Speakers at a function have said collective efforts should be taken at individual and institution levels for proper implementation of the Right to Information (RTI) law. Besides, they said ensuring open and timely access to information will help stop corruption, improve governance and ensure accountability and transparency. They were addressing the inaugural session of a three-day Information Fair and Cultural Festival-2011 organised by Conscious Citizens Committee (CCC), an associate organisation of Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB), at Green Plaza of Rajshahi City Corporation here on Saturday evening. Rajshahi City Corporation and District Administration supported the fair.
