Import, export activities through Hili Land Port resume

RANGPUR: Normal import and export activities resumed from Saturday through the Hili Land Port (HLP) under Hakimpur upazila in Dinajpur after long vacations since September 30, on occasion of Eid-ul-Azha and Durga Puja, according to a news agency.
According to the sources in Customs, importers, clearing and forwarding agents' association (C&FAA) at HLP, all sorts of import- export activities remained suspended through the land port from September 30 to October 10 during the vacation.
However, movements of the passport and visa holders of Bangladesh and Indian nationals remained normal through the Immigration check post at the HLP during the vacation period despite closure of import and export activities there.
