Import-export activities thru Hili Land Port resume

RANGPUR, May 7 (BSS): Import and export activities through Hili Land Port in Hakimpur upazila of Dinajpur district resumed on Saturday after a six-day pause on the occasion of May Day and Eid-ul-Fitr.
President of the Hili Land Port Importers-Exporters' Group Harun Ur Rashid Harun said the import-export activities remained suspended from May 1 to May 6 on the occasion of the historic May Day and Eid-ul-Fitr festival.
Indian cargo trucks started arriving at the port on Saturday morning, he said.
"The local trucks also started loading and leaving for different parts of the country with the imported goods," he added.
