Inclusion of police in INTERPA confce to help combat cyber crime: IGP

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Benazir Ahmed on Wednesday said engagement of police in the International Association of Police Academies (INTERPA) conference has created new possibilities for combating cyber-crime, reports BSS.
INTERPA is a potential organization to increase capacity of policemen of member countries. The international engagement of the police at the INTERPA conference has created new possibilities to combat cyber crime," he said.
The IGP was addressing the closing ceremony of the 11th annual INTERPA Conference at a city hotel as the chief guest, a press release said.
INTERPA President Prof Yilmaz Colak and Police Staff College Bangladesh Rector (Additional Inspector General of Police) Khandker Golam Faruq also spoke there, the release added.
