Income tax fair rakes in Tk 16.75b

The income tax fair this year has fetched the state coffers Tk 16.75 billion this year, which is Tk 5.57 billion more than last year. NBR Chairman Ghulam Hussain said at the fair’s closing ceremony on Monday that this much tax had never been collected in Bangladesh’s history, according to a news agency.
