KHAGRACHHARI, Feb 9 (UNB): An indefinite blockade on three roads, including a river route in Khagrachhari and Rangamati districts enforced by Parbatya Bangali Chhatra Parishad was withdrawn Tuesday.
The parishad leaders said that they called their programme off at 6.00pm Tuesday considering the SSC examination beginning Thursday and an assurance by the local administration to meet their demands.
They had enforced the blockade programme on Dighinala-Baghaihat and Dighinala-Baghaichhari routes in Khagrachhari and Rangamati-Baghaichhari River route in Rangamati to realise their five-point demand.
