Indefinite strike at Rokeya Varsity from Sunday

Begum Rokeya University unit of Samajtantrik Chhatra Front on Saturday called an indefinite strike at the university from Sunday to realise their three-point demands, including opening of its two newly-constructed residential halls. Ahsan Habib, president of the university unit of Samajtantrik Chhatra Front, announced the strike programme at a press briefing on the campus at noon. He said Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), Bangladesh Chhatra Union and other student organisations expressed their solidarity with their demands and the strike programme, according to a news agency.
