Locals said Rezaul Biswas, brother of deceased transport leader Abdul Gaffar Biswas, filed the case accusing 18 people, including Jhenidah municipality mayor and joint general secretary of district Awami League Saidul Karim Mintu, on Tuesday morning. Meanwhile, the municipal workers and employees union also called a strike protesting the case filed against Saidul Karim Mintu, also general secretary of District Bus-Minibus Owners’ Association.
