Indentors for simplification of regulatory practices

Indenting agents of the country emphasised simplification of the regulatory and controlling practices that creating adverse effects in indenting business, import of goods and commodities.
The representatives of the member-firms of the Bangladesh Indenting Agents' Association (BIAA) expressed the grievance during the 26th annual general meeting (AGM) of the association held at a city hotel Saturday.
BIAA President Obaidur Rahman presented the annual report and the audited accounts statement of the association for the year 2007.
He assured the members of all out efforts to eliminate the unnecessary regulations applied on indenting business and, if necessary, would bring the matter to the notice of the Bangladesh Better Business Forum and the Regulatory Commission.
He said the government has taken measures to restore confidence of the businessmen. He underscored the need for member-firms to extend all out cooperation in this respect.
