India-Bangladesh team climbs Mt Nun

A joint India-Bangladesh team of mountaineers have scaled the 7,135 metres high Mt Nun in Punjab Himalaya under Jammu and Kashmir. A press release said, the Mountaineering Association of Krishnanagar (MAK), based in India’s West Bengal state, and Dhaka-based adventure club "Keokradong" took part in the expedition. The team summated on July 7, said the release issued on Friday. The members of the joint expedition team include Basanta Singha Roy, Biswanath Saha, Rohit Majumder, Kaushik Biswas and Ashim Kumar Mondal of MAK, and Riffat Hasan Muntasir Mamoon Imran and Salma Khatun of Keokradong, according to bdnews24.com.
