India dismisses press report on Sonia-Hazari meet

The High Commission of India has dismissed the newspaper report about a meeting between chairperson of United Progressive Alliance Sonia Gandhi and former Member of Parliament of Bangladesh Joynal Hazari in New Delhi on August 1.
In a press release Tuesday, the High Commission termed the news item as concocted, malicious and factually baseless. It regretted that newspapers have published such a misleading and incorrect article.
