India dominate ITF Junior Tennis

India dominated both the boy's and girl's doubles semi-finals of the Sony-Rangs 25th Bangladesh ITF Junior Tennis Championship at Ramna National Tennis Court Complex in the city Thursday, reports UNB. In the day's boy's doubles semi-final, Agarwal and Mandlekar of India pair beat Sree Shajib and Sree Ranjit Passy of Bangladesh pair by 6-0, 6-3, Hwisang Hwang of Korea and Nuttakit Veerthammasorn of Thailand pair beat Ashok Kashyap and Savio Anthony of India pair by 4-6, 6-3, 10-8 to reach the final. In the girl's doubles semi-final, Riya Bhatia and Moulika Ram of India pair beat Rheeya Doshi of Singapore and Ann-Christin Nilsson of Germany pair by 6-2, 7-6 (1) and Zhi-Huan Eva Chen of Chinese Taipei and Si Ying Julienne Keong of Singapore pair beat Sakchatchawan Chatchaya of Thailand and Timbadia Aditi of Singapore pair by 6-0, 6-0 to move to the final. Meanwhile, The Indian boys also maintained their domination in the boy's singles event. On the day's boy's singles matches, Tejas Kapoor of India beat Mohammad Jamil Bhuiyan of Bangladesh 6-1, 6-1, Kashyap Ashok of India [6] beat Sean Lee of Singapore [2] 6-4, 6-1, Neven Krivokuca of Croatia beat Anthony Savio of India 6-3, 6-2 and Sujiv Chopra of India beat Pawarade Thongvinit of Thailand 3-6, 6-4, 6-3. In the girl's singles, Teertha Iska [1] of India beat Si Ying Julienne Keong [7] of Singapore by 6-3, 5-7, 6-2, Ann-Christin Nilsson [2] of Germany beat Isabella Orteza of Philippines by 2-6, 6-0, 6-3, Rheya Doshi [5] beat Katrina Orteza of Philippines 2-6, 7-5, 6-2 and Riya Bhatia [4] of India beat Zhi-Huan Eva Chen of Chinese Taipei 6-2, 6-0.
