India-funded students’ hostels inaugurated

Indian Deputy High Commissioner Sandeep Chakravorty on Thursday inaugurated a two-storey women’s hostel for Kazi Montu College at Bhangerhat and a boys’ hostel for Bhennabari United High School at North Bhennabari in Gopalganj district. This project is funded by the government of India as part of an
initiative to implement small development projects, said a media release issued by the Indian High Commission in Dhaka. These hostels will provide accommodation to the school and college-going children who hail from remote areas, according to a news agency.
