Tuesday, 17 June 2014

India lost opener Ajinkya Rahane to the second ball of the innings and hobled to 14-1 after 5.2 overs, after being invited to bat first, in the second One-Day International against Bangladesh on Tuesday. Robin Uthappa (6) and Cheteshwar Pujara (3) were at the crease when it started to rain at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka. Ajinkya Rahane, whose 64-run knock set up India’s win in the first ODI, was trapped lbw to a Mashrafe Bin Mortaza inswinger for a duck. Rahane was caught plump in front of the middle stump and failed to connect the delivery that came in sharp and low.
