\\\'India positive on Nur\\\'s extradition\\\'

The Indian government would positively consider extraditing Nur Hossain, the prime accused of seven murders in Naryanganj. Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali has made the disclosure at a press conference after the meeting between Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and India’s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. AH Mahmood Ali said, ‘The Indian external affairs minister has asked Bangladesh to request them for the extradition of alleged killer of seven people in Narayanganj, Nur Hossain. Mahmood Ali said, during the meeting Swaraj assured that New Delhi will consider the request ‘positively’. Earlier on Thursday morning, Sushma Swaraj also held a bilateral meeting with Mahmood Ali. She arrived in the capital on a three-day visit on Wednesday night. On June 14, West Bengal police arrested Nur Hossain in Kolkata along with his two accomplices, according to a news agency.
