India ready to sell 100 MWs of electricity to BD: Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India said that if Bangladesh wants to buy excess electricity from India, India was ready to sell, according to news received in Dhaka. "India was ready to sell 100 MWs of electricity from the plant to Bangladesh, if wanted," he said this while inaugurating a 760-megawatt (MW) power plant at Palatana, Tripura, according to a news agency.
