India to give 3-5 yrs business visas for Saarc countries

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said India will give business visa for 3 to 5 years for 8 Saarc countries and called for making procedures simple and facilities better. 'India will now give business visa for 3-5 years for Saarc. Let's make it even easier for our businesses through a Saarc Business Traveller Card,' he said. The Indian PM made the announcement while addressing the 2-day 18th Saarc Summit being held in Nepalese capital Kathmandu. Modi said they speak of ease of doing business in India. 'Let's extend this to our region. I promise to ensure that our facilities at the border will speed up, not slow down, trade.' The Indian Prime Minister also made a call to make procedures simple, facilities better, standards common and paperwork less burdensome, according to a news agency.
