India to share info with BD on Bardhaman blast

Sunday, 12 October 2014

India has agreed to share information with Bangladesh about the recent bomb blast at Bardhaman in West Bengal as Indian media pointed fingers at 'Bangladeshi militants' for the explosion, reports UNB.
Indian official spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin has confirmed that Bangladesh sought information from India regarding the matter, Indian High Commission in Dhaka said on Saturday.
"I can confirm you that the Bangladesh government has requested our assistance in this matter. We've received that communication from the Bangladesh government," Akbaruddin said.
He said they requested their agencies concerned to tabulate information and collate that so that they can share appropriately with friends in Bangladesh.
The October 2 explosion at a Bardhaman house killed two suspected militants-Shakil Ahmed and Sobhan Mandal-and left a person named Hasan Saheb injured.
