Indian clothes, fabrics worth Tk 40m seized

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel seized Indian clothes and fabrics worth Tk 40 million at Jhenidah Sadar upazila on Thursday night. Acting on secret information, a team of BGB-6, led by its director M Maniruzzman, intercepted a Dhaka-bound truck from Jessore on Panchmaile Road and seized 5,200 pieces of Indian saris, 10,200 metres of fabric and 35 3-pieces worth around 40 million. However, no arrest was made, according to UNB.
