Indian co to invest $3.41m in Adamjee EPZ

An Indian company will set up a garments accessories manufacturing industry in Adamjee Export Processing Zone (EPZ).
The company, M/s Tex Zippers (BD) Limited, will invest US$3.41 million (about Tk 230 million) for its plant and will annually produce 250 million pieces of different types of zippers.
In this connection, an agreement was signed between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and the M/s Tex Zippers (BD) Limited in the city Tuesday, reports UNB.
Member (investment promotion) of the BEPZA Prasanta Bhushan Barua and Managing Director of M/s Text Zippers Vijay Toley signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
The company will also create employment opportunity for 152 Bangladeshi and eight foreign nationals.
