Indian forest guards shoot Bangladeshi farmer

MYMENSINGH, July 21 (UNB): A Bangladeshi farmer was shot and injured grievously by Indian forest guards on Para Gobrakura frontier in Haluaghat Upazila Monday morning. Haluaghat thana police said Indian forest guards opened fire on a group of farmers when they were working at a paddy field near the pillar no. 1126 at about 6.00 am, leaving Hazrat Ali injured.
He was rescued by the fellow farmers and admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital in critical condition.
