Indian FS arrives Sunday on a 3-day visit to Bangladesh

Indian Foreign Secretary (FS) Shivshankar Menon arrives in the city tomorrow (Sunday) on a three-day visit as Dhaka and New Delhi are expected to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to remove non-tariff barriers in bilateral trades, officials said, reports BSS.
According to the Foreign Ministry officials Menon will arrive on June 24 afternoon and hold talks with Foreign Secretary-in- Charge Touhid Hossain next day.
An Indian High Commission press release said Menon was likely to issue an arrival statement after landing at the Zia International Airport (ZIA).
The Indian foreign secretary is also scheduled to call on Foreign Affairs Adviser Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury after his talks with Touhid Hossain at the State Guest House Padma, the Foreign Ministry officials said.
