Indian goods seized in Joypurhat

Joypurhat, Nov 15 (UNB): Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members seized smuggled Indian goods worth over Tk 10m from separate places in Joypurhat, Noagaon and Dinajpur districts on Saturday and Sunday. Acting on secret information, BGB men launched separate drives and seized the goods from Joypurhat sadar, Panchbibi upazila, Dhamirhat of Noagaon district and border areas of Hakimpur upazila of Dinajpur district. The seized goods included cloths, cumin seed, cosmetics, imitation jewelry, sex stimulating tablets and drugs. But none was arrested in this connection. The seized goods were deposited to Hili customs in Dinajpur and separate cases were filed.
