Indian HC observes Republic Day in city Sunday

Indian High Commission (HC) in Dhaka will celebrate the Republic Day of India in the city on Sunday.
The celebrations will be held at the New Chancery Complex in Baridhara, said a media release issued by the Indian High Commission in Dhaka, according to a news agency.
Indian High Commissioner Pankaj Saran will unfurl the Indian national flag at 9 am, to be followed by the singing of the national anthem.
The High Commissioner will then read the President of India’s message to the nation.
Meanwhile, a cultural programme, with the children of the Indian community in Dhaka taking part, will be held marking the day.
