Indian PM to call on President Sunday

The visiting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make a courtesy call on President Mohammad Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Sunday, a highly-placed source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh said on Saturday afternoon. It said, Modi is scheduled to arrive at Bangabhaban, the residence-cum-office of the President, at 12.35pm and make the courtesy call on the President at the Credential Hall. The Indian leader will also attend the honouring ceremony to be held at the Darbar Hall of the Bangabhaban. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend the ceremony. After the ceremony, the Indian PM will sign the Visitor’s Book kept at the Gallery Hall. He will attend the private lunch to be hosted by the President, reports BSS.
