Indian Super League football and Bangladesh\\\'s Mamunul

Indian Super League (ISL) football gets underway on the 12th of this month. ISL is like Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket which has become very popular in the cricket world. Eight teams will be participating in the prestigious tournament. Many international football players, including Bangladeshi football star Mamunul Islam, will play in the ISL tournament. The captain of Bangladesh national football team will play in Athletico De Kolkata, and it will be very interesting to see Mamunul playing in such a big tournament. I am sure that ISL will make football more popular in this region despite cricket being a more watched game than football in the Indian sub continent. I hope Mamunuul Islam will captivate the mind of football lovers like our Shakib Al Hasan in IPL. We are eagerly waiting for the ISL to start and hope that the tournament will prove to be a great source of entertainment and increase the popularity of football in Bangladesh. For long football was the most popular sport in our country, but now football is not attracting crowds as it did before. This is mainly due to its declining standard. Already Mamunul's inclusion in ISL has created a huge interest in the media and the sports loving people of our country. I hope it will benefit the football of Bangladesh in the long run.
