Indian team in city to negotiate rice price

A high profile Indian delegation arrived in the city Sunday to negotiate export of 0.4 million tonnes of rice to Bangladesh. "Four senior officials from state agencies concerned of India arrived here this night to discuss prices of rice," Ajit Gupta, press and information counselor of Indian High Commission to Dhaka, told the FE Sunday. He said the delegation will hold meeting (today) Monday with Bangladesh food ministry officials to determine prices of rice. — FE Report
