India's lower house suspended over Adani allegations

The lower house of India's parliament was suspended temporarily on Friday for a fourth day in a row this week following disruptions as opposition lawmakers sought a discussion on the allegations against Adani Group, report agencies.
US authorities last week accused Group Chairman Gautam Adani and seven others from the company of being part of a $265 million scheme to bribe Indian officials, and of misleading US investors while raising funds there.
The ports-to-power conglomerate has termed the allegations "baseless" and said it would seek "all possible legal recourse".
