Indices up, turnover down on DSE

All the market barometers of DSE marked rise though the turnover declined Monday. DSEX, the prime index of DSE rose by 24.19 points though the turnover declined to Tk 3.19 billion. DSEX rose to 4477.56 points, DS-30 1730.87 points and DSES 1094.96 points on the day. Out of 311 issues traded, 161 rose, 102 declined and 48 remained unchanged. United Airways, Hiedelberg Cement, Khulna Power, Grameenphone, Far Chemical and Summit Power were the top turnover leaders on the day.
