Monday, 11 August 2014

India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI) will host a two-day Business Conclave in the city on August 23-24 next in an effort to enhance connectivity in the region and boost trade between the two countries.
“The conclave is set to focus on regional connectivity across South Asia and ensure development of the region,” special adviser to IBCCI Abdul Matlub Ahmed told UNB  Monday night.
He said a high-profile delegation comprising a number of ministers from India will take part in the conclave.
Matlub Ahmed said the conclave would find ways for the removal of bottlenecks in the free flow of trade and commerce and strengthen connectivity on all fronts.
Responding to a question, he said they would finalise things within the next couple of days to host the event successfully.
