Indo-Pak shipbreakers visit Ctg shipyards

CHITTAGONG, May 13: A combined team of shipbreakers from Pakistan and India Friday visited some shipyards at Sitakunda in the port city and said the environment there is good. They also asked the shipbreaking yard owners of Bangladesh to obstruct 'conspiracy' of the vested quarters, who are propagating against the booming shipbreaking industry of the country. Nine members from the shipbreakers' associations of India and Pakistan visited Mabia Shipbreaking Yard in Baro Aulia area, and Habib Steel and Rising Shipbreaking Yard at Madam Bibir Hat at Sitakunda coast in the Bay of Bengal.
