Indonesian President, WTO DG greet PM

Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono Thursday congratulated Sheikh Hasina on her assumption of the office of Bangladesh Prime Minister (PM) for the third time, reports UNB.
In a message, the Indonesian President also reaffirmed the intention of the Republic of Indonesia to further develop the constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation in politics, economy and culture between the two countries, said a Foreign Ministry media release.
Director-General of World Trade Organization (WTO) Roberto Azevedo also congratulated Sheikh Hasina for her reelection as the PM of Bangladesh.
In a message, he thanked the PM for the support of Bangladesh in achieving a successful outcome at the Ninth Ministerial Conference of the WTO in Bali in December 2013.
Azevedo conveyed gratitude of the WTO for Bangladesh's longstanding commitment to a strong and viable multilateral trading system.
The WTO DG also expressed his desire to continue and strengthen the relationship with Bangladesh.
