INDUSTRY MINISTER AT THE WORLD METROLOGY DAY DISCUSSION MEETING

Minister of Industries, Commerce, and Textiles & Jute Khandaker Abdul Muqtadir attended a discussion meeting organised by the Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) at its headquarters on Saturday to mark World Metrology Day 2026. This year's theme is: "Metrology: Building Trust in Policy Making." The event was chaired by BSTI Director General (Secretary) Kazi Emdadul Hoque. Special Guest was Md. Obaidur Rahman, Secretary of the Ministry of Industries. The discussion session featured Md. Abdur Rahim Khan, Administrator of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), as a panel speaker.
