Info minister urges students to stand by people

CHITTAGONG, May 21 (BSS): Information Minister Hasanul Hoq Inu urged the students to stand by the side of people keeping themselves above politics.
"You will have to try again and again to reach your goals despite hundreds of obstacles," he added.
The minister said this while addressing the 3rd convocation ceremony of Asian University for Woman in the port city Thursday afternoon.
Addressing at the function, the minister said today is the red letter and memorable day in the life of those who graduated themselves from the university.
Chancellor of the University Cherry Blair, US Ambassador to Bangladesh Marcia Bernicat addressed the ceremony as convocation speaker while Vice Chancellor (VC) of Asian University for Women Fahima Aziz and trustee Yang Zoon Kim, among others, spoke on the occasion.
Later, 115 students of 12 countries were given certificates. At present around 500 students from 16 countries are studying in the university.
