Indian High Commission (HC) in Bangladesh Thursday advised all the applicants who are approached by agents to help obtain Indian visas to immediately report their activities to the local police or law enforcement authorities, reports UNB.
"We advise all applicants who are approached by agents or who claim to offer assistance in obtaining Indian visas to immediately report their activities to the local police," said Sujit Ghosh, the official spokesperson of the Indian HC.
The only authorised agent for processing of Indian visas in Bangladesh is the State Bank of India that operates Indian Visa Application Centres (IVAC) across Bangladesh, said the spokesperson in reply to a question on Indian visa processing.
