Injured BCL activist dies at BSMMU

KUSHTIA, July 23 (UNB): A Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activist, who was shot by some unidentified miscreants on July 10, succumbed to his injuries at
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) on Thursday noon.
The deceased was identified as Sharukh Khan Piyas, son of Abul Kalam, a resident of Harishankarpur area in Kushtia town. Piyas was a 3rd year student of Kustia Government College.
On July 10, some unidentified miscreants shot Piyas at Chandagorafield in Kustia town.
Later, he was taken to Dhaka for treatment.
