Injured Neymar ruled out of WC

Brazil forward Neymar has been ruled out of the World Cup after fracturing his vertebrae in the closing stages of the2-1 quarter-final win over Colombia.
"It's not serious in the sense that it doesn't need surgery, but he'll need to immobilise it to recover," team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar said after the player had been taken to hospital on Friday, according to Al-Jazeera.
"Unfortunately, he's not going to be able to play," he said, adding he expected the recovery period to take at least a few weeks."
Neymar, who has scored four goals in the tournament to lead Brazil's bid for a sixth world title, went down after a challenge by Colombia's Juan Zuniga in the 88th minute and looked to be in pain.
Neymar also received support from the country's president, Dilma Rousseff, who tweeted: "Like all Brazil I am one of those cheering from the sidelines for our star Neymar to get better."
Leaving the Estádio Castelão, it was difficult not to feel that Brazil, after the initial burst of jubilation, may have lost their best chance of winning this tournament for the sixth time.
The news of Neymar is a grievous blow for Brazil, but the damage does not necessarily have to be irreparable.
And yet, Brazil have not reached this point just to raise a white flag because one player - admittedly, more than just a normal player - is injured. Willian is a £32m player with the energy to fit in seamlessly. That, in turn, could free up Oscar to play in the No 10 role where he does his best work. Or maybe Bernard could come in and we might see why Scolari has described the Shakhtar Donetsk player as having "joy in the legs". That still does not lessen the significance of an injury that had the president, Dilma Rousseff, sending her own message of support to Neymar.
