Inmate of N\\\'ganj jail dies at hospital

A convicted prisoner, who had been serving jail term at the district jail in a drug case, died at Narayanganj General Hospital on Saturday evening. The deceased was identified as Sohag Miah, 48, son of Abdul Hai, a resident of Munshiganj district. Forkan Wahid, jailer of Narayanganj jail, said they got Sohag admitted to the Narayanganj 100-bed General Hospital on Saturday afternoon after he complained of stomach pain. Later he died at the hospital in the evening, according to a news agency.
