Intel chair to visit Bangladesh on September 4

Chairman of the United Nations' Global Alliance for Information and Communication Technologies and Chairman of the Intel Corporation's board of directors Craig R Barrett will visit Bangladesh on September 4.
This will be his first visit to Bangladesh where he will be working with the local communities, government, academia and the industry to drive digital inclusion in Bangla-desh.
Craig R Barrett is a leading advocate for improving education in the US and around the world, said a press release.
Craig Barrett was born on August 29 in 1939 in San Francisco, the USA.
Barrett joined Intel Corporation in 1974 as a technology development manager. He was made vice president of the Corporation in 1984, promoted to the posts of senior vice president in 1987 and executive vice president in 1990.
Barrett was elected to Intel Corporation's board of directors in 1992 and was named the company's chief operating officer in 1993.
