Intensity of cold wave may increase at weekend

The intensity of the cold wave sweeping over the country may increase at the end of this week, according to a weather forecast by a source at the Met Office, reports BSS.
A meteorologist said: "We are forecasting that intensity of cold may increase at the end of this week after disappearance of the cloudy weather."
With the influence of the cloudy weather, little rain might occur at different places of the country, particularly in coastal areas, he said.
The lowest temperature on Friday was recorded at 14.3 degrees Celsius in Dinajpur and the highest at 29.4 degrees in Sylhet.
The Met Office said the lowest temperature at most places in northern and southwestern region was recorded between 15 to 20 degrees Celsius.
Dhaka recorded the maximum temperature of 25.9 degrees and minimum 20 degrees.
